reflection on portrait photography portfolio: november 27,2012 assignment d
1) the good part about my portfolio is i took pictures when they were unexpected because those are the best pictures to take.
2) i could have taken more time and not lose the camera because i had to catch up on photos.
3) My best photo would have to be the one of me crying. i was crying because my friend was calling me useless and saying i was no good. having the picture in black and white and my face turned to the side and seeeing the tears run down my cheek made it look even cooler.
4) the values in my portfolio aree mainly bright because most of the pictures were outdoors. so mainly i used natural light to brighten the photo.
5)mainly i had my photos show action because they have a better story to tell.
6) my emphasis was mainly the face because you cant judge a a book by its cover. The face is more interesting to me because they have intrecet details.
7) from this project i learned the rule of thirds and headspace. with headspace there shouldnt be a lot of extra space. the rule of thirds make it easier to take an exciting photo. a life lesson is that people taking others photos can creep you out.
8)First I took my little sister out to the park and let her play, and snapped a few shots when she wasnt watching. Next I carried my camera around and took shots when nobody was expecting it. I ended up not sticking to my plan of doing full body shots because I found the face to be more interesting.
9) Not to be mean but I didnt like this project at all because you had to have so many just to get a meeting standards. A way to make this better would be less photos and not all of people.
